Colorado Defeats Illinois-Chicago

Colorado captured a 63-49 win over Illinois-Chicago in the first game of the Subway Classic in Williams Arena. The Buffaloes (2-0) were led by Brittany Spears with 19 points. Illinois-Chicago (0-3) was topped by Jasmine Bailey with 11 points.

Minnesota will face Illinois-Chicago on Saturday at 6 p.m., and Colorado on Sunday at 6 p.m.
