  • Tubby Smith is now 47-28 as the head coach at Minnesota and 434-173 for his career.
  • Minnesota is now 31-8 at Williams Arena with Smith on the bench.
  • Minnesota led 51-20 at intermission is now 39-3 when leading at the half under Smith.
  • The Gophers' 31-point lead at halftime is the largest halftime lead they have had this season. The previous high was 15 against Tennessee Tech.

  • The Gophers held Brown to a season-low 20 points in the first half. Its previous low was 23 against Bryant on Nov. 25.

Individual Player Notes

  • All five Gopher starters finished with double-figure points for this first time this season.
