See Decker Tuesday On CBS College Sports

CBS College Sports Network announced on Friday that the network will broadcast the National Football Foundation's press conference for the 2009 NFF Annual Awards Dinner live on Tuesday, Dec. 8 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. CST. The press conference will feature this year's College Football Hall of Fame Bowl Subdivision Class and the 2009 NFF National Scholar-Athlete Class, which includes Minnesota wide receiver Eric Decker.

2009 Gold Medal recipient Phil Knight (Founder and Chairman of Nike), Distinguished American Award recipient Billy Payne (Chairman of Augusta National Golf Club), NFF Chairman Archie Manning and NFF President & CEO Steve Hatchell will also participate. The press conference will air live from the Waldorf-Astoria hotel in New York.

The 2009 College Football Hall of Fame Class will air from 8:30-9:30 a.m. and includes Pervis Atkins (New Mexico State), Tim Brown (Notre Dame), Chuck Cecil (Arizona), Ed Dyas (Auburn), Major Harris (West Virginia), Gordon Hudson (Brigham Young), William Lewis (Harvard), Woodrow Lowe (Alabama), Ken Margerum (Stanford), Steve McMichael (Texas), Chris Spielman (Ohio State), Larry Station (Iowa), Pat Swilling (Georgia Tech), Gino Torretta (Miami, Fla.), Curt Warner (Penn State), Grant Wistrom (Nebraska). Coaches: Dick MacPherson and John Robinson.

After a 15-minute break, the 16 members of the 2009 NFF National Scholar-Athlete Class, who are also vying as finalists for the Campbell Trophy, will take the podium from 9:45-10:30 a.m. The class includes: Decker, Jon Asamoah (Illinois); Matt Bauman (Brigham Young); Moses Harris (Fresno State); Tim Hiller (Western Michigan); Paul Jasinowski (Brown); Beau Kildow (Morningside, Iowa); Josh Mahoney (Northern Iowa); Colt McCoy (Texas); Jarrell NeSmith (Tusculum, Tenn.); Joe Pawelek (Baylor); Todd ReesingZaVious Robbins (Hardin-Simmons, Texas); Tim Tebow (Florida); Blaine Westemeyer (Augustana, Ill.); and Reed Williams.

CBS College Sports Network is available through local cable operators and video providers and nationally via satellite on DirecTV Channel 613 and Dish Network Channel 152.
