Drew Brown led Minnesota on the final day of the NCAA Zone C Championships at University Aquatic Center with a fourth place finish on the 10-meter platform. Cole Young placed fifth and on the women's side, Taylor Enerson placed seventh.

Brown stood in fifth after the first round with a score of 363.05 but he rallied with a second-list score of 422.00 that set a new school record. Overall, it was a great meet for Brown, finishing in the top 10 in all three events and narrowly missing selection to the NCAA field. "He had some good stuff happen," diving coach Jason Baumann said. "The 422 on platform is a great score and a new school record. I am really proud of what he did. It's tough to miss the NCAA Championships but he made marked improvement."

Young placed fifth with a score of 761.35. His first list score of 383.10 had him fourth and he followed with a 378.25. "Cole had a solid 12 dives, just didn’t ever break through for the 8’s he got several 7.5s and was super consistent," Baumann said. "He ends his career without an NCAA Championship appearance, but he has become such a great young man over the last 4 years. He will graduate with a mechanical engineering degree already been accepted into a few graduate schools for Mechanical Engineering. He will also again be an honorable mention Academic All-American. We will miss his leadership from our team."

Junior Tyler Jepsen also placed 14th with a score of 543.55. Ohio State's Sean Moore claimed the title with a score of 897.80, winning an event for the second straight day. David Colturi took second (861.30) and David Boudia was third (798.90).

On the women's side, Taylor Enerson made a very strong showing with a seventh-place finish and a score of 438.45. She was seventh after the first round with a score of 224.90 and finished with a second round score of 213.45. "Taylor did a great job," Baumann said. "Especially considering she was a walk-on and hadn't dove platform until a year and a half ago. I am very proud of her."

Ohio State's Katherine Bell took the title with a score of 609.00.
