Gopher Gymnasts Honored For Academics

The Big Ten Conference announced that 58 student-athletes from the University of Minnesota have earned Academic All-Big Ten honors during the winter season. Minnesota sports included in the winter were men's and women's basketball, men's and women's gymnastics, men's and women's swimming and wrestling. Minnesota's 58 student-athletes on the list ranked fourth among Big Ten institutions.

To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, student-athletes must be letterwinners in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a career grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better.

The Golden Gophers' men's gymnastics squad had seven members named to the Big Ten All-Academic team. The following is a look at the Minnesota Gymnasts who were honored:
