University of Minnesota gymnasts Kit Beikmann and DJ Repp each earned All-America honors Saturday night at the Sports Pavilion.

Beikmann, a senior from Brighton, Colo., was competing for the final time as a Gopher. He finished fifth in the pommel horse with a score of 15.325, his second best score of the season. It is the second All-America award for Beikmann in his career. He finished seventh on the horse in 2007.

On the other hand, Repp was competing in his first NCAA Championship meet. The freshman from Albuquerque, N.M. hit a 15.850 score on the vault as the second man up on the event. The score held up well enough to get him sixth place and earn his first All-America honor.

This marks the third consecutive year the Gophers have had multiple gymnasts win All-America honors. Its the eight straight season with at least one All-America award going into the Minnesota trophy case.
