Hassan Mead Featured on KARE 11 Last Night

Golden Gopher sophomore Hassan Mead will be featured on KARE 11 tonight at 6 p.m. Mead, a Minneapolis native, smashed his own Minnesota record in the 5,000-meter run by over 15 seconds last Saturday night at a meet at Stanford. He clocked a time of 13 minutes, 28.45 which currently ranks third in the NCAA this season. Mead’s next action will be at the Big Ten Championships, May 15-17, in Columbus, Ohio.
