Any Laskowske was named an All-American in the 10,000-meter run by the U. S. Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) following her performance at this week’s NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Laskowske, a sophomore from Palatine, Ill., placed 10th in the 10,000 meters clocked a time of 34:24.11 in her first NCAA race. She was the Big Ten runner-up in the event earlier this season.

Laskowske was one of four Golden Gophers to earn All-America acclaim at the NCAA Championships, joining seniors Heather Dorniden (800 meters) and Liz Roehrig (heptathlon) and junior Alicia Rue (pole vault).

The USTFCCCA honors the top 12 American athletes in each of the 21 NCAA Championships events as All-Americans.
