Caribou Coffee Becomes an Official Partner

MINNEAPOLIS (July 30, 2009) -- Caribou Coffee Company, Inc. (NASDAQ:CBOU)
When Gopher Football fans pour into the new TCF Bank Stadium this fall to cheer on the hometown team, they'll be able to get their favorite hometown coffee too.
Caribou Coffee recently entered into a partnership with the University of Minnesota and is now the official coffee of Gopher Athletics. Caribou Coffee will be sold at all Gopher Athletic venues this season, including the new TCF Bank Stadium set to open this fall.
"Our roots are here in Minnesota so we're particularly proud to have been selected as the Official Coffee of Gopher Athletics," said Alfredo Martel, Caribou Coffee SVP of Marketing. "We are planning some fun things together so everyone should stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the first home football game on September 12."
The Caribou Coffee partnership was secured by Gopher Sports Properties, which is a property of Learfield Sports that manages the multimedia rights for Gopher Athletics.

Caribou Coffee will be served at TCF Bank Stadium in the premium suites, loge boxes, club rooms, select concessions and the Press Box and within Mariucci Arena, Williams Arena and other selected athletic venues beginning with the 2009-10 school year.
