Gopher Diving Tandem Win National Title

On the final day of the AT&T National Diving Championships Sunday in Tallahassee, Fla., Gopher junior diver Drew Brown and recent graduate Cole Young combined to win the synchronized 10-meter platform national title. It is the first national title of any sort for both divers.
Brown and Young combined to tally 354.15 points to edge the score of 346.86 set by Dashiell Enos and Steele Johnson.
Earlier in the day, the duo finished fourth in the synchronized 3-meter springboard competition with a score of 338.52. Individually during the five-day competition, Brown placed 10th on the 10-meter platform with a score of 343.25 and 13th on the 3-meter board with a score of 329.25. Young took 17th on the platform (272.55) and 26th on the 3-meter (283.30).
