Coaches Clinic Set for Oct. 29

The University of Minnesota wrestling program will host a coaches clinic on Friday, Oct. 29, headlined by Gophers head coach J Robinson, 2010 NCAA champion Jayson Ness and U.S. Freestyle National Coach Zeke Jones. The clinic offers professional instruction on coaching wrestling to all persons interested in the sport.
Registration for the clinic begins at 12:00 p.m at Bierman Athletic Complex, to be followed by a 30-minute introduction by Robinson at 12:45. Afterward, participants will attend two hour-long training sessions, one by Ness at 1:15 and one by Jones at 2:30. At 3:45, participants will have the opportunity to watch a live Minnesota wrestling team practice. The clinic wraps up with two night sessions: a 6:00 session on strength and performance training by President of C.P.D. Fitness Pat Schlatter, and a 7:15 session on technique by Jones.
