Event Information & Match Day FAQ - Gopher Wrestling at Maturi Pavilion

Parking & Transportation

Single Match Parking
Single match parking is available for purchase on match day. The recommended single match parking areas are the University Avenue Ramp, 4th Street Parking Ramp, Lot C58, Lot 37, and the Maroon Lot. Click here to see parking areas around the Maturi Pavilion.
Season Parking
A limited amount of season long parking passes are available for Gopher Wrestling season ticket holders. Please contact the Gopher Ticket Sales & Service Department at 1-800-U-GOPHER to learn more.
Transit Information
  • Metro Transit - Visit metrotransit.com/gopher-sports for maps, schedules, and other transit information!
  • Minnesota Valley Transit Authority - Visit mvta.com for transit information from the south metro.
ADA Parking
  • ADA parking is available in each of the available parking facilities surrounding Maturi Pavilion. Individuals must purchase a gameday parking pass for the lot/ramp in addition to possessing a government issued ADA placard to park in one of the designated ADA spaces. Individuals are encouraged to purchase a parking pass in the University Avenue Ramp for single game ADA parking. If the University Avenue Ramp is sold out, alternative options are the 4th Street Ramp followed by Oak Street Ramp.

Fan Relations / Tickets

Mobile Ticketing
Gopher Athletics has transitioned to mobile tickets for all sports beginning in the Fall of 2021.  Fans may access tickets via the Minnesota Gophers Official App, a link in their email, or by logging on to their account at GopherSports.com/myaccount. More information on mobile tickets can be found HERE.
Student Admission
U of M students receive FREE admission to Gopher Wrestling meets using the Gopher Student Sports Pass. Students should log in or activate their account ON A SMART PHONE to download their FREE Gopher Student Sports Pass to their phone's wallet to gain access to regular season matches at Maturi Pavilion. Gopher Student Sports Passes cannot be downloaded on a desktop.
Will Call
All tickets left at Will Call can be picked up at the west Gopher Ticket office at Maturi Pavilion.  Will Call will open up 1 hour prior to each match at the Maturi Pavilion box office. A photo ID is required to pick up tickets.
Lost or Stolen Tickets
  • Tickets that are lost or stolen can be replaced at the Maturi Pavilion ticket office on match day
    • Refunds will not be issued
    • Replacement tickets can only be reissued to the person who originally purchased the tickets
    • A valid ID must be shown to receive replacement tickets

Arena Policies / General Procedures / Entry

Public Entry
Fans may enter Maturi Pavilion through the west entrance OR through the daily entrance located off of University Ave SE. All University of Minnesota students should enter through the west entrance.

Doors open 1 hour prior to the start of the dualfor general ticket holders and U of M students.
Club Room/Courtside Entry
Club Room ticket holders may enter Maturi Pavilion through the daily entrance located off of University Ave SE 1.5 hours prior to the start of the dual.
Building Policies
  • University of Minnesota, including Maturi, is a smoke-free campus
  • No re-entry
  • No outside food or beverage allowed in Maturi Pavilion
  • No cans, bottles, or thermoses permitted (exception: fans may bring an empty clear plastic bottle into the venue. Water fountains are available within the facility).
  • Children 2 years of age or under do not need a ticket
  • Access to premium areas is restricted to individuals with tickets or passes to Club Room seats
  • All tickets will be electronically scanned to verify authenticity. Tickets that cannot be verified will be referred to the main ticket office
Sportsmanship
  • The Big Ten Conference, University of Minnesota, and the Golden Gophers encourage good sportsmanship towards officials, opposing teams, and fans at all events.
United Are We: Fan Code of Conduct
  • The University of Minnesota strives to create an inclusive and respectful environment for all fans, coaches and student-athletes in attendance at each event. Fans, coaches and student-athletes should not be subjected to hostile or discriminatory language or actions while attending or competing at Gopher Athletics events. No one should be harassed for their gender, race, religious belief, national origin, disability or sexual orientation. Racist, homophobic or transphobic language will not be tolerated. The University reserves the right to remove any individuals from University facilities at their discretion. The University of Minnesota appreciates the cooperation and support of everyone attending Gopher Athletics events.
Medical Emergency
  • Notify the nearest usher or staff member
  • Do not touch or move the injured or attempt first aid unless properly trained
  • First Aid booth is located on the south concourse behind Section 110
Concessions
All concessions in Maturi Pavilion are cashless.

There are an assortment of concession stands located throughout the Maturi Pavilion on the first level. Snack Shack stands, which are operated by Aramark, are located in the concourse area behind sections 104 and 109. A wide selection of food is available – ranging from hot dogs and nachos to pretzels, and more.

There is also a Kemps Ice Cream stand located in the corner adjacent to section 107, Maui Wowi behind section 105, Subway in front of section 101, Drews Popcorn behind section 102, and a Dominos stand located on the corner adjacent to section 101.
Alcohol Sales Information
Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase prior to and during Gopher Wrestling matches at Maturi Pavilion. Alcohol sales end at the beginning of the second half.

Fans must be 21 or older to purchase alcohol and there is a two (2) drink maximum, per Valid ID, per transaction.

Valid Minnesota papers and former state driver's license/ID Card will not be accepted as proof of age for alcohol purchases.

Digital copies of ID's will not be accepted.

Acceptable forms of identification:
  • A Valid US State issued Driver's License or ID Card
  • A Military ID Card issued by the US Department of Defense
  • A Valid Passport or Passport Card issued by the United States or a Foreign Country
  • A Minnesota Tribal ID Card which includes a photo, Date of Birth and Expiration Date
  • A Valid Canadian Province Identification Card or Drivers License
