Gophers in 10th in Last Event of Fall

Participating in only her second ever collegiate event, freshman Banchalee Theinthong leads the Gophers in 14th place after a one over par 73.
Senior Teresa Puga , who leads Minnesota with a 73.44 scoring average through three events this season, is in a tie for 32nd after a 75.
Samantha Sommers, Michele Edlin, and Mary Narzisi are all tied for 44th after posting matching rounds of 76. The three seniors have played in all four events for the Gophers this fall.
Emily Tubert of Arkansas leads the field after an impressive nine under 63. Washington's Karin Dickinson and Idaho's Kayla Mortellaro are five strokes behind Tubert with 36 holes left to play.
Arkansas is in first after posting an 11 under 277 to open up a 17 stroke leader of second place Washington (294). Louisville and Arizona sit one back of the Huskies at 295 in third, while event host UNLV and Kent State are tied for fifth with 296.
