Kallman Earns Academic All-District

Minnesota women's soccer senior midfielder Kylie Kallman has been named Second Team Academic All-District, according to a release this week issued by CoSIDA.

The Woodbury, Minn. native is majoring in marketing and supply chain management in the Carlson School of Management and has maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.74 while balancing athletic and academic responsibilities.

Kallman has started in 84 career games for the Gophers including all 20 contests this season. A defender during her first three years at Minnesota, Kallman moved up to midfielder for the 2010 campaign and has become one of the Gophers top playmakers. The senior ranks second on the team and third in the Big Ten with seven assists already this year, bringing her career point total to 20 with four goals and 12 assists.
