Food Drive Continues At Upcoming Events

Gopher Athletics will be accepting food donations at three upcoming events, which will benefit Second Harvest Heartland.
Gopher student-athletes will be accepting canned or non-perishable food donations at the main entrances of the Sports Pavilion and Williams Arena prior to the volleyball match against Michigan State on Saturday Nov. 13, the Nov. 14 (Sunday) women's basketball Best Buy Classic and Nov. 15 (Monday) men’s basketball team when it plays Siena. They will also accept monetary donations at the events. For every $1 that individuals donate, is worth $9 of food to Second Harvest Heartland.
The Gophers started their food drive last weekend at the women's and men's hockey doubleheaders against Wisconsin. Gopher athletics raised over $4,000 monetary and food donations last weekend alone.
