Two Gophers Honored By Phil Steele

Two University of Minnesota football players earned postseason accolades on Phil Steele's Postseason All-Big Ten teams. Troy Stoudermire was named the first-team kick returner, while Da'Jon McKnight was listed as a third-teamer at wide receiver.

Stoudermire averaged 27.2 yards per kickoff return this season and ranked No. 28 in the nation in that category. McKnight was 11th in the Big Ten in receptions per game, but tied for the conference lead in touchdown catches with 10.
