Minnesota's women's basketball team plays host to Northern Arizona this evening at 7:00 p.m. in Williams Arena.
The Gophers (7-5) are coming off a 75-68 loss at Alabama A&M on Tuesday, Dec. 14, while the Lumberjacks (4-7) dropped an 88-70 decision at Northwestern on Sunday afternoon. With a win, ninth-year Minnesota head coach Pam Borton would become the school's all-time wins leader for women's basketball coaches. Borton heads into tonight's game with a record of 172-95 at Minnesota, which ties Ellen Mosher-Hanson's victory total during her 10-year career (1977-87) on the sidelines for the Golden Gophers.
Tonight's game will be broadcast via radio on WCCO (830 AM) and other selected stations on the Gopher Radio Network, with Corbu Stathes calling the play-by-play and Lynnette Sjoquist adding color analysis.
