16 Gophers Earn Academic All-Big Ten Honors

The University of Minnesota soccer team set a new team record on Thursday when 16 of its student-athletes were named to the 2010 fall Academic All-Big Ten team, which was released Thursday by the conference.
The Big Ten released its Fall 2009-10 Big Ten Academic All-Conference Team Thursday afternoon. To earn this distinction (student-athletes must be letter winners, be in at least their second year at the institution and carry a 3.0 grade-point average.
