The times for the NCAA Regionals in Seattle, Wash. have been set. The 10th-seeded Golden Gophers will face No. 7 Cal on Friday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. (CT) followed by No. 2 Nebraska facing host Washington on Dec. 10 at 9 p.m. (CT).

On Saturday, Dec. 11, the winners of the two NCAA Regional Semifinal matchups will face each other at 10:30 p.m. (CT) with the winner claiming a berth in the 2010 National Semifinals.

Minnesota swept both North Dakota State and Creighton to get to the NCAA Regional Semifinals. It marked the first time since 2004 that the Golden Gophers swept through the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament. It is also the eighth time Minnesota has made the NCAA Regional round since 1999. Cal also swept through its first and second rounds as it defeated Utah State and North Carolina.

On the other side of the regional bracket, Nebraska swept Sacred Heart and Auburn to get to the regionals and Washington swept Michigan and Hawai'i.

Minnesota owns a 3-2 all-time record against Cal. The Gophers defeated Golden Bears in three sets at home in 2008 and lost in three sets at Cal in 2007. Minnesota also dropped a five-set match to Nebraska in 2009 and a three-set neutral-site matchup to Washington that same season. The Gophers are 4-27 against the Cornhuskers and 1-1 against the Huskies. Minnesota's only win against Washington came in 2003 when the Gophers won in five sets in the Regional Finals in Long Beach, Calf. to advance to the program's first National Semifinal.

All of the Gophers' postseason matches can be heard live in the Gold Zone. For more information on tickets to the NCAA Regional Semifinals click here.
