OVERVIEW: Ranked as the No. 17 offensive tackle in the nation by Rivals.com • listed as the No. 161 player in the nation and No. 2 player in Minnesota by Rivals • rated as the No. 18 offensive tackle in the nation by Scout.com• ranked as the No. 19 offensive guard in the country by ESPN and Scouts Inc. • ranked as the No. 82 player in the Midwest by SuperPrep • earned a four-star ranking from both Rivals and Scout • tall, athletic lineman • long arms and large wingspan make him very good in pass protection • great strength, athleticism and technical skills.
HIGH SCHOOL: Currently attends Irondale High School • selected to play in the U.S. Army All-American Game • helped lead his team to a 6-4 record in 2009 • team advanced to second round of the state playoffs • first-team Associated Press All-State selection • Two-time All-North Suburban Conference selection • honored as North Suburban Conference Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2008 and 2009 • two-time All-Metro selection • second-team all-state as a junior in 2008 • threw two passes last season, completing both for a total of 84 yards and a touchdown • coached by Ben Geisler.
