Bryant Earns a Trip to NCAA Championships

Kelci Bryant earned a trip to the NCAA Championships after posting a second-place finish in the 1-meter event, tonight, at the Zone D Diving Championships at Texas A & M. Bryant becomes the first Golden Gopher diver to make the championships since Rebecca Corthwaite accomplished the feat in 2003-04.
Bryant captured second place when she scored a 664.80 to finish second out of 42 divers. Houston's Anastasia Pozdniakova won the event with a score of 683.55. This will be the first NCAA Championships for the sophomore. She will also compete in the 3-meter event tomorrow.
Minnesota also had Katie Grunawalt and Taylor Enerson compete in the 1-meter. Grunawalt placed 22nd overall with a score of 235.20, while Enerson finished 25th in 232.20
