Grunawalt Competes on Platform to Conclude Zones

Katie Grunawalt was the lone University of Minnesota representative during the final day of the Zone D Diving in College Station, Texas. Grunawalt finished 13th overall with a score of 216.30. A total of 21 competitors competed in the platform as Missouri's Christina Gailey won the event with a score of 521.90 to advance to the NCAA Championships next weekend.
The Gophers will have 13 members compete at next weekend's NCAA Championships in West Lafayette, Ind. Prelims are at 11 a.m., followed by diving at 1 p.m. and finals at 7 p.m.
