Gophers Preparing For Senior Night

Saturday will mark the final home competition for six University of Minnesota mens' gymnasts. The Golden Gophers will host Iowa and Illinois-Chicago at the Sports Pavilion, with the meet set to begin at 7 p.m.

It will be the final home meet for Andre Berry (Hempstead, Texas), Aaron Fortunato (Bedford, Ohio), Colin McGuire (Plano, Texas), Thomas O'Brien (Westfield, N.J.), Adam Reichow (Eden Prairie, Minn.) and Cole Storer (Plano, Texas).

 

 

 

 

 

 

Minnesota enters Saturday's meet with a No. 7 national ranking. Iowa comes in as the No. 10 team in the nation, while Illinois-Chicago is rated No. 11.

The Gophers have already squared off with the Hawkeyes and Flames once this season. Minnesota finished behind Iowa, but topped Illinois-Chicago back at the season-opening Windy City Invitational.
