Gophers in the Community: Tom's Drugstore

In a course this spring at the University of Minnesota, students researched places and organizations in the Twin Cities that provide opportunities for novices to practice public life skills. A handful of student athletes and other students chose Tom’s Drugstore in Minneapolis. One evening a month, Tom Sengupta opens his pharmacy and invites people of different ages, views and backgrounds to mix it up on political and public affairs topics.
