The field has been set for the 2010 Big Ten Tournament after the final day of the regular-season on Saturday, May 22.

Minnesota won its fifth Big Ten regular-season title since 2000 to claim the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament, which will begin on Wednesday, May 26.

"I am very proud of this group and everything they accomplished this year," said Minnesota Head Coach John Anderson. "This team battled through some injuries and some tough results early in the year to get to the point where we are. I am so proud of the way that the leaders on team guided it throughout the year, and this title is a testament of what they did and the younger players who did a great job of developing during the course of the year."

The Golden Gophers will be making their 26th appearance in the Big Ten Tournament. Minnesota has won eight Big Ten Tournament titles in their school history. This will be the fifth time since 2000 that the Golden Gophers will be the No. 1 seed. Minnesota and Michigan, who is the No. 2 seed, will both receive a bye on the first day on May 26. Northwestern is the No. 3 seed, Iowa is No. 4, Purdue is No. 5 and Indiana is No. 6.

Iowa and Purdue will play in the first game on May 26 at 11 a.m. (CT) Northwestern and Indiana will face each other in the second game at 2:35 p.m. (CT).

The Golden Gophers will play the highest seeded winner at 6 p.m. (CT). Michigan will play the lowest-seeded winner at 2:30 p.m. (CT).

All of Minnesota's postseason games will be broadcast on KLBB (1220 AM) and in the Gold Zone.
