Lynx Host Open Practice at Sports Pav Saturday

The Minnesota Lynx, with three former University of Minnesota players on their training camp roster, will host a practice open to the public at the U of M’s Sports Pavilion on Saturday, May 8, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Come watch new Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve put her team, with newly-acquired Gopher superstar Lindsay Whalen, through a practice as Minnesota prepares for its upcoming season opener on May 15 at Tulsa. Former Gophers Brittany McCoy and Ashley Ellis-Milan are also members of the Lynx training camp roster.
Following the practice, the Lynx will be available for an autograph session from 12 to 12:30 p.m.
The day’s activities will conclude with a special lunch for Golden Gopher season ticket holders with Coach Reeve, Whalen, Golden Gopher head coach Pam Borton and a number of Gopher players in the Williams Arena Club Room.
