The Minnesota women’s cross country and track & field programs combined to finish 14th in the Terry Crawford Program of the Year Award sponsored by the U.S. Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association.

The award celebrates the accomplishments of schools that score at the NCAA Championships in the sports of cross country, indoor track & field and outdoor track & field. Oregon earned the Terry Crawford Award by placing ninth in the cross country, winning indoor track and finishing second at the outdoor national meet.

Minnesota was 10th in cross country, 39th in indoor track and 31st in outdoor track. Only three Big Ten teams, Minnesota, Penn State and Ohio State, scored in all three NCAA meets in 2009-10.
