Anderson Heads to USA Track Championships

Minnesota’s Gabriele Anderson will compete this week in the USA Track & Field Championships in Des Moines, Iowa. The Championships run from June 23-27 on the famous blue track at Drake University.
Anderson, the 2010 NCAA outdoor runner-up, will compete in the 1,500 meters first round on Thursday, June 24, at 5:50 p.m. The Gopher All-American will run in the second of two heats with the top three finishers from those heats and the next six fastest times advancing to Saturday’s 3:26 p.m. final.
