Anderson Seventh in USA 1,500m Final

Minnesota’s Gabriele Anderson donned the Golden Gopher uniform one last time on Saturday competing in the 1,500-meter run final at the USA Track & Field Championships in Des Moines, Iowa. Anderson finished seventh, the top collegian with six professional runners ahead of her, clocking a time of 4 minutes, 17.53 seconds. Anna Pierce, of Nike, won the USA title with a time of 4:13.65.
