Blankenship 19th in USA 1,500m Prelim

Minnesota junior Ben Blankenship finished 19th of 30 competitors in the 1,500-meter run prelims at the USA Track & Field Championships in Des Moines, Iowa, on Friday. Blankenship clocked a time of 3 minutes, 41.69 seconds, the second-fastest time of his career.
