Fortunato Earns Academic Honor

The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) have announced their Academic All-District At-Large teams for 2009-10. University of Minnesota senior Aaron Fortunato (Bedford, Ohio) was named a Second-Team Academic All-District selection.

Fortunato held a 3.77 grade-point average with a major in Civil Engineering. He competed in every meet for Minnesota over the course of the last two seasons. He finished ninth in the all-around competition at the 2010 NCAA Championships. Fortunato was an All-Big Ten selection as a junior in 2008.
