Gophers at Camp Odayin

8/16/2010 12:00:00 AM | Athletics

Camp Odayin provides residental camping experience for young people with heart disease, where kids can experience outdoors and other activities in a safe and medically supervised environment. Some members of the Gopher community volunteered at Camp Odayin, on August 12th in Cross Lake, Minn. The Gophers and kids played games, made crafts and swam while they were there. The M.A.G.I.C (Maroon and Gold Impacting the Community) school bus left Bierman at 7:45 a.m. and returned at 11 p.m. that night.

Participating in the event was former cross country and Life Skills intern, Ben Kampf, swimming's Molly Belk, track's Caitlyn Dongoske, gymnastics' Janell Campbell, basketball's Katie Loberg and softball's Dannie Skrove.

Here's a video blog of their experience.
