Fans Enjoy FBC Booth at State Fair

Several members of the Fast Break Club, the official booster club of the University of Minnesota women's basketball team, were on hand to promote the organization on Sunday at the Minnesota State Fair. The FBC had a booth in the U of M Building on Dan Patch Avenue, and it was a happening place, with people streaming through the building all day long.

Five members of the women's basketball team -- Amber Dvorak, Katie Loberg, Brianna Mastey, Nicole Mastey, and Jackie Voigt -- also made appearances to hand out signed photo cards, apply too many temporary Goldy Gopher and Block M tattoos to count, and just have fun interacting with the fans who stopped by the booth.

The Fast Break Club is an organization of dedicated basketball fans working to support the University of Minnesota women's basketball team. The goals of the club are to increase public and media awareness of the program, to promote the sale of season tickets, and to raise funds for the basketball program. Members of the Fast Break Club have an opportunity to help the Gophers in their quest to cut down the nets, and are able to attend members-only receptions with the players and coaches, pregame "chalk talks," and to be part of one of the the best sports stories in Minnesota. For more information, check out the club's website at fastbreakclub.net.

The FBC will once again have a booth at the State Fair this Sunday (Sept. 5), with Gopher players Amber Dvorak, Kiara Buford, and Leah Cotton all set to make appearances.
