Minnesota softball coach Jessica Allister and the Golden Gophers staff held its first practice of the fall on Friday, preparing for the team's upcoming fall schedule. The practice also allowed Allister, along with assistants Jessica Merchant and Piper Marten, to evaluate Minnesota newcomers and returns before the team plays a two-game series with Concordia (St. Paul).
