GSS Highlights Gopher Tight End Eric Lair

9/17/2010 12:00:00 AM | Athletics

In recent Golden Gopher football history, one of the most successful positions for moving on to the professional ranks has been tight end. Gopher Sports Spotlight caught up with junior tight end Eric Lair and asked his thoughts about following the greats of Ben Utecht, Matt Spaeth, Jack Simmons and Nick Tow-Arnett.

Lair is a 6-3, 238-pound tight end from Houston, Texas. He has earned the Golden Gophers’ starting nod in 2010 and has four catches on the season.
