Gopher Sports Spotlight caught up with cornerback Ryan Collado. We asked the Golden Gopher senior about his new kickoff returning duties, playing with fellow senior Kyle Theret in the defensive backfield and the excitement of the upcoming Homecoming game versus Northwestern.
Collado, a Cincinnati native, has played in 41 of 42 games during his Minnesota football career and will make his 19th start on Saturday. He has accounted for 123 tackles. Last week versus Northern Illinois, Collado raced 56 yards on a kickoff return.
