The length of Lonnie Poole Golf Course (7,358 yards) and putting struggles made for a tough tournament for Minnesota. The Golden Gophers finished ninth in the Wolfpack Intercollegiate with a score of 889 (+37). Erik Van Rooyen was the team's top finisher, tying for 20th.
Van Rooyen's three-round score was a 6-over-par 219. He shot a 75 today. Robert Bell and Tyler Lowenstein had the Gophers' best scores today, each posting a 73.
