Gophers Reach 100,000 Facebook Fans

University of Minnesota athletics has reached a social media milestone. The Gophers reached 100,000 Facebook fans Saturday.
To celebrate, Gopher Athletics will be randomly selecting 100 of its Facebook fans to receive prizes beginning Monday. We'll be contacting lucky Facebook winners via their Facebook email. If you aren't following Gopher Athletics on Facebook, click here and then click the "Like" button on the Minnesota Gophers Facebook page. You will still be eligible for the prizes. Prizes will range from authentic team gear to tickets and autographed items.
In addition, the University of Minnesota Bookstores are offering a special deal on a Minnesota T-shirt, to Minnesota Gophers Facebook fans. This T-shirt is regularly priced at $9.99, but it will be available to Facebook fans for $6.99 only from Feb 21-25, and only online. The link to purchase this T-shirt will be on the Minnesota Gophers Facebook page for those five days.
