Gophers Win Three Events at Bethel Invite

While most of the Golden Gophers enjoyed an off weekend from competition, a handful of Minnesota tracksters competed in the Bethel Invitational on Saturday in Roseville.

Ben Peterson won the pole vault with a height of 16 feet, 8 3/4 inches. Adam Isakson was third with a height of 15-1.

Kenny Schofield won the long jump with an effort of 22-3 1/2.

Gopher hurdles Ryan Todhunter and Alex Migit went 1-2 in the 55-meter high hurdles. Todhunter posted a time of 7.58 seconds, to 7.77 seconds for Migit.

Minnesota is preparing for some big meets next weekend, especially the Washington Husky Classic and the Iowa State Classic.
