Kelci Bryant Advances to NCAA on 3m Board

Minnesota junior Kelci Bryant will have the chance to defend her national diving title on the 3-meter springboard advancing to next weekend’s NCAA Championsships with a runner-up showing the NCAA Zone D Diving Meet in Austin, Texas, on Friday.

Bryant scored a total of 716.10 points to capture runner-up honors. Houston’s Lacey Truelove won the title with a score of 730.55.

Gopher freshman Maggie Keefer was fifth with a score of 629.70. Freshman Sarah McCready scored 265.85 and sophomore Katie Grunawalt 254.15 in prelims.

The NCAA Zone Diving D Meet continues through Sunday.
