GSS Highlights Gymnast Kayla Slechta

Gopher Sports Spotlight takes an artistic twist visiting with freshman gymnast Kayla Slechta, who has already made her mark in the Gopher history books on the vault. Kayla landed this vault, scoring 9.925 at the Best of Minnesota meet. Though only a freshman, she is a leading title contender in the event at the Big Ten Championships.

Minnesota plays host to the 2011 Big Ten Conference Women’s Gymnastics Championships on Saturday, March 19, in the Sports Pavilion.
