Minnesota-Santa Clara Game Postponed

The Minnesota-Santa Clara game scheduled on Friday, Mar. 18 at 8. p.m. (CT) has been postponed due to rain. The two teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday, Mar. 19 at 3 p.m. (CT) and finish the series with a single game on Sunday, Mar. 20 at 1 p.m. (CT).
It is the second time on Minnesota's California trip that they have had a game postponed due to weather conditions. The Gophers' game on Tuesday, Mar. 15 against Sacramento State was also postponed because of rain.
Minnesota is 3-2 on the California trip entering the Santa Clara series. The Gophers won the first game against Gonzaga 8-1, dropped the next two to the Bulldogs 10-3 and 15-6 and defeated Sacramento State 3-1 and 7-5 in 11 innings.
