GSS Highlights Michael Richards

Senior swimmer Michael Richards recently repeated as Big Ten champion in both the 50- and 100-yard freestyle races. He also led off the Golden Gophers' 200-yard freestyle relay with a record-shattering split.

Richards, an eight-time All-American, looks to add to his résumé this week as Minnesota hosts the NCAA Championships at the University Aquatic Center. The meet starts on Thursday and continues through Saturday.

We caught up with Richards to talk about his swimming career, future plans, and the upcoming NCAA Championships.
