Red Carpet to Greet Frozen Four Teams at Xcel

The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the local organizing committee for the 2011 NCAA® Men’s Frozen Four® will roll out the red carpet as teams arrive for their national championship tournament games at Saint Paul's Xcel Energy Center on April 7 and 9. Hockey fans are invited to cheer on their teams as they make a red carpet entrance through the west doors of Saint Paul RiverCentre, adjacent to Xcel Energy Center on Kellogg Blvd.
 
The first of the two teams competing in the national semifinal game starting at 4 p.m. CST on April 7 are expected to make their red carpet entrance at approximately 2 p.m. CST. The teams competing in the 7:30 p.m. CST semifinal game are scheduled to arrive at approximately 5:30 p.m. CST. For the national championship game at 6 p.m. CST on Saturday, April 9, teams will begin arriving at approximately 4 p.m. CST. Fans are encouraged to arrive early. Cameras are welcome. No autographs will be permitted.

Once the four teams have advanced to the 2011 NCAA Men’s Frozen Four, an updated schedule will be announced. 
 
The 2011 NCAA Men's Frozen Four will be hosted by the University of Minnesota,Twin Cities, April 7 and 9 at Xcel Energy Center. The NCAA Men’s Frozen Four is the culmination of the NCAA Division I Men’s Hockey Championship consisting of the final four teams competing for the national championship.  The local organizing committee for the 2011 NCAA Men’s Frozen Four is comprised of officials from the University of Minnesota, Visit Saint Paul and Xcel Energy Center.
