Blog: Kill, Gophers Host Alumni BBQ

The University of Minnesota football team held a gathering for Golden Gopher alumni Saturday afternoon at TCF Bank Stadium. The barbecue was hosted by head coach Jerry Kill and gave alumni of the football program a chance to mingle with current coaches and players.
"You have to go back to history to be successful," Kill said about connecting with the Gopher alumni.
Saturday was a busy day for Coach Kill and the Gopher coaches and student-athletes. The barbecue followed the Gopher Football Youth Clinic, which was held early Saturday afternoon.
"This is a great time for our program," Kill said. "We had the youngsters out today and then a barbecue with our former players and lettermen."
