GSS Highlights Track Standout Chimerem Okoroji

This special edition of the Gopher Sports Spotlight takes us to the NCAA Track Prelims in Eugene, Ore., to catch up with junior Chimerem Okoroji. Okoroji has enjoyed a breakout season as a junior for the Gophers.

We talked with Okoroji on a variety of topics from her improved performance this season, to running on the 4x100-meter relay, to traveling to the NCAAs.

This week, Chim will compete in both the 100 meters and the 4x100-meter relay seeking to punch a ticket to the 2011 NCAA Championships in Des Moines, Iowa, in June.
