Blog: Rasmussen Entertains With Lineup Intros

When Minnesota faces Michigan State on the Big Ten Network this afternoon at 2:35 p.m. (CT), many Gophers fans are going to try to make sure they're watching in time to see the starting lineups introduced.
Why is that? Because one of the stories of this year's Big Ten Tournament has been the hilarious introductions of Minnesota's lineup by senior left-handed pitcher Luke Rasmussen.
A native of Northfield, Minn., Rasmussen has introduced his Gopher teammates in an exaggerated Northern accent that immediately makes one think of lutefisk and lefse. It's made cameramen laugh as they film it, and has drawn applause from all who are around to watch as soon as he's done filming it.
Someone recently posted Rasmussen's introductions of the Gophers' lineups on YouTube, and it's already been viewed almost 3,000 times in less than 24 hours. To see it for yourself, click on the YouTube video below, or tune in this afternoon to watch the Gophers as they attempt to knock off Michigan State and continue to advance through the tourney.
Just make sure you sit down to watch in time to catch the lineups.
