Kessel and Schoullis Net Goals in Team USA Victory

The U.S. women's hockey team finished play in the IIHF Twelve Nations Invitational today, capping the tournament with a 6-0 win over Finland. Team USA went undefeated at 6-0 in the tournament.
Gopher Amanda Kessel, assisted by Brianna Decker and Jocelyne Lamoureux, notched the game winner against Finland. Kessel scored at 14:19 in the first period to put the Americans up 1-0. The U.S. was up 3-0 by the end of the first period.
Gopher Jen Schoullis put the U.S. up by four, scoring at 30:03. Kessel was credited with the assist. Team USA finished the second period ahead 5-0, and scored a sixth goal in the final three minutes of the game to arrive at the final tally of 6-0.
Both Noora Raty and Mira Jalosuo were in the line up for Finland in today's game. Raty did not see action.
In six games, Team USA outscored its opponents 48-1. Schoullis finished with five goals and two assists, while Kessel compiled four goals and three assists.
Finland has played seven games, earning a 5-2 record. Team Finland has outscored its opponents 27-10. Defenseman Mira Jalosuo tallied one assist so far in IIFH Twelve Nations play.
While the U.S. has completed tournament play, Team Finland will face Sweden tomorrow. Live stats for the game will be available here.
