Gophers to Host Inaugural Alumni Event

The University of Minnesota softball team invites its alumni back to partake in the team's Inaugural Minnesota Softball Celebration on September 9-10.
The event will begin the night of Friday, September 9 with a banquet to honor the 2011 softball team. The gathering will take place in the William Arena Club Room with the doors opening at 6:30 p.m. The night's activities will encompass a dinner and a short program to commemorate the 2011 season.
The festivities will continue Saturday morning at 10 a.m. with an alumni game at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium. Following the game, a barbeque/tailgate will take place up until the departure for the Gopher football game versus New Mexico State, which kicks off at 2:30 p.m.
