Gophers Open Steak N' Beans Series on Sept. 23rd

The Minnesota baseball program begins the Steak N' Beans Series this weekend at Siebert Field. The Maroon and Gold will face each other in the first game on Friday, Sept. 23, at 3:45 p.m. The Gophers will also play at noon on Saturday, Sept. 24th. Admission for all of the games are free.
The rosters have also been announced. Competing on the Maroon Team is TJ Oakes, Drew Ghelfi, Dustin Klabunde, DJ Snelten, Alex Tukey, Jordan Jess, Lance Thonvold, Bobby Juan, Tony Skjefte, Troy Larson, Kyle Geason, Matt Halloran, Ryan Abrahamson, Jake Bergren, Andy Henkemeyerand Chris Schaaf.
On the Gold team is Austin Lubinsky, Billy Soule, Kevin Kray, Tom Windle, Kyle O'Shea, Ben Meyer, Ty McDevitt, Ethan Liederman, Kyle Crocker, Michael Handel, Matt Puhl, Kurt Schlangen, Dan Olinger, David Bettenburg, JT Canakes, Trip Schultz and Mark Tatera.
